I thought they were quite good, some dodgy moments, but not enough to spoil the whole thing.

I feel the only directors who could have pulled this off would have been Cameron, Speilberg or Peter Jackson. I thought the role of Molly Brown was outstanding

I wont enjoy it though, thats the whole point, I'd sit crying all the way throught it lol Even the video to Celine Dions song makes me sob, can you imagine how I'd be with the film lol I'd love to be able to watch it if someone could take away this empathy I've seen Raise the Titanic which made me cry when they raised it pmsl!!! I'm hopeless with sad films ;D Ok, I have to speak up here...girl; you gotta toughen up. Go buy it. That movie will give you the best opportunity you will ever have to see the ship in her glory. If you can't stand the sinking sequence, turn it off when the ship strikes the burg. My bet, you'll be so engrossed in the story, you won't mind. ;D

Just think the Titanic movie 1997-James Cameron thoughs who own it will be lucky someday because we'll have footage of it.Because as we alll know it won't exist much longer unless something is done.

Just think the Titanic movie 1997-James Cameron thoughs who own it will be lucky someday because we'll have footage of it.Because as we alll know it won't exist much longer unless something is done. a night to remember was a good account of the tragedy but it lacked any real emotion ,the mini series was okay, but I think that the james cameron film was streets ahead,in terms of giving an insight into the event as well as connecting on a personal level by giving us real characters that we could feel sympathy for, also the little touches such as recreating the scene as the ship departed and the boy and his father playing quoits, was haunting. it may not have been completely correct, but it is hard to recreat events with accuracy especially when relying on verbal accounts, with so much horror going on around them it would be difficult for passengers to be able to recall anything with any real clarity. and of course there has to be some artistic licence.

It was correct in many parts, but like anything, it has its flaws. Superb movie though
