It was reported that there were realy stoaways on the Titanic that had hidden in the lifeboats...is this true? The following information was obtained by Mr. George Thomas Rowe, Titanic lookout during the U.S. Senate enquiry following the disaster:"Rowe told Senator Burton of the US Senate enquiry that there were thirty-nine people in the boat. Two male first class passengers, five crew (including himself), three firemen, a steward, and, near daybreak, they found four Chinese or Pilipino stowaways who had come up between the seats. All the rest were women and children." (Source: www.encyclopedia-titanica.org/bio.php/1370.html) These four individuals could have been from steerage or stowaways, either way it is food for thought.
