...who would you have been? Just a little bit of fun here to see who we think we are most like... I've only just thought of this, so I don't have an answer yet, but I will think it through and get back to you'se...but I definitely know that I would NOT have been Molly Brown...although I can be pushy (so my hubby says) I don't think I would have been brave enough to be her and take charge like she did. So do we have any JJ Astors here? Or maybe a Mr. Gugenheim? Or dare I say, would you have been Bruce Ismay? Or how about the noble Mr. Andrews...?

What a good topic!
I worked as cabin crew on a boat for 2 years, so I know all about evecuation and sea survival, so I would possibly be a Molly Brown. I think I would probably be more of a Benjamin Guggenheim though, I would not save myself when others would die, I would die a gent.

Wow! What a question...I suppose, if I had to choose someone, I would have either been Molly Brown or Lucy Noel Martha, the Countess of Rothes. I'm a feisty one, I could have been either one of those two.

In all reality if income was considered, we'd not have been in first class at all. ;D

I would be first officer lightoller.i would of gone back for the people like he did. Hi Brittanic, did you mean 5th Officer Harold Lowe? He was the one who went back to search for surviors. 2nd Officer Charles Lightoller was a great guy too, he survived by climbing on the overturned collapsible boat (B i think) He also kept the other men going, so he too, saved alot of lives by keeping them awake during that freezing night until help came. either one is a great choice Personally, i would have been Bessie Allison, i have done so much research on her and her family, i feel that i know them, even though in reality i don't

I agree that Lowe or Lightoller are good choices. Thomas Andrews strikes me as being a decent man too although I know little about him I've always had the impression that he was a genuine person. Lightoller did end up on the upturned collapsable B I manage to remember this fact by thinking B for bottom up!! well it works for me SQ.

Thomas Andrews. He was a good man I guess but he did something that I never could or can understand. He went down with the ship.I've never been able to understand it.

I know how you feel embb I would have put my kids straight into a lifeboat and had some peace. Throw the wife in too, then go and have a brandy with Mr Guggenheim.
